Mini Masterpieces teams up with Bristol University!
Come and make a movie in just two weeks...
Facilitated by the Ray Duignan donation to the Department of Drama: Theatre, Film, Television, short film specialists and Bristol-based production company Calling The Shots take you from pre-idea through pitching, script development and production to editing, premiere and distribution. Come along with an idea or as part of a team and CTS will help you produce a smart, sharp little calling card for your talents.
We're looking for 30 students to make 5 x 3-5min films.
The Mini Masterpieces approach uses the Bristol Rules, a bit like Dogmae, only less Danish... developed over the last seven years in short film projects in Bristol, London, Hannover and Posnan. Using the method, we've produced over 30 films including award-winners God and Dave, The Audition, Forgotten Comic, Gash and Double Take.
Fiction or Doco, we're here to make you make something - great for your portfolios and CVs!
Starts with a briefing meeting on Tuesday June 8th followed by the Pitch Day on Friday, June 11th when you'll have the chance to pitch your film to a panel of industry professionals. From 14-18 June you'll be developing your projects in production teams through workshops and surgeries.
